Hamer Community Primary School recently held a Happiness Fair and the Nursery Class, Reception and Year 5 classes nominated Rochdale Foodbank to receive the proceeds.
£80 was raised and this was supplemented by £50 from Morrisons when several pupils accompanied by Mrs Charlene Mullane went shopping at the Kingsway store. The food purchased was presented to Mrs Wendy Fell, Rochdale Foodbank Schools’ Co-ordinator on 21 July.
