We have a Citizen Advice Service worker available Monday-Friday at the foodbank (normal opening hours).
💰 We have a Citizens Advice worker based at the foodbank, Monday-Friday.
📢 Our Citizens Advice is available to anyone who visits the foodbank for food support. They offer a range of support and advice regarding multiple issues. They offer face to face support, telephone support and appointments.
✅ Benefits Advice – Get a benefits check and maximise your income, Challenge benefit decisions, and get help filling out disability forms ( PIP, DLA, AA )
✅ Housing Advice – Repairs, Landlord increasing your rent, Eviction notices, Homelessness
✅ Debts – Rent and Council tax debts, Energy Arrears, Credit/Catalogue debts, Payday loans, Affordable payment arrangements and Debt solutions
✅ Energy – Energy efficiency, Switching suppliers, Billing Issues, Grants and Priority Service Register
✅ Consumer – Holiday and transport, Buying and repairing car, Scams, Event tickets, Vets and pets, Home improvement, TV/Internet and if something is wrong with purchaseÂ
✅ Employment – Greivances, Disciplinary, Dismissal, Flexible Working, Redundancy, Issues with Pay, Discrimination and tribunal processessÂ
✅ Family – Seperation, money and housing when seperating, death and wills, children, gender violance and educationÂ
✅ Immigration – We can provide guidance on the following: EU Settlement Scheme, Visas for family and visitors, British Citizenship, Deportation and asylum and refugees information
